Grace Kelly Exhibition to Open in London

Oscar-winning actress, Princess of Monaco and a trend-setter in the fashion world. Grace Kelly set a standard in style and fashion that few can match today. That's why an exhibition dedicated to the iconic Hollywood figure is set to open at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on Saturday (local time).

Titled "Grace Kelly: Style Icon," the exhibition will showcase her simple but elegant fashion sense. Some of the dresses, accessories and shoes that many movie buffs will recognize are the ones she donned in films like "Rear Window" and "High Society."

One section focusing on her fast rise to stardom displays the satin dress and matching coat designed by Hollywood costume designer Edith Head which she wore during Oscar night in 1955. That night she took home an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as the wife of an ex-alcoholic in "The Country Girl."

In another section titled "The Bride," the outfits she wore during religious ceremonies in Monaco will be displayed.
